Problem 941
Daily Math Challenge - June 06, 2023
You have a large circle with the positive integers 1 – 1000 written around the circle in order. Starting at 1, every 15th number is marked (in other words, 1, 16, 31, and so on are marked). The first number marked is one and the second number marked is 16. The marked numbers are not removed. The process is continued around and around the circle until all numbers that can be marked have been marked. How many different numbers are marked?
Immediately after your correct answer is submitted, your name will be posted here.
