Problem 903

Daily Math Challenge - March 30, 2023

Believe it or not, the inhabitants on the planet Mars use the same alphabet as we do on Earth.  On Mars, spaceship license plates consist of exactly three letters and a letter may be used more than once.  Two license plates are considered identical if and only if they contain the same three letters in the same order.  How many different Martian license plates are possible if the letter Q must be followed directly by the letter U on all license plates?  (This implies that certain combinations using a Q are not possible such as QQQ or a plate ending in Q)
