Consecutives

Problem of the Week - May 29, 2023

Consider the positive integers less than 100.  Some of these numbers can be represented as the sum of consecutive integers such as 39: 12 + 13 + 14 = 39 or 83: 41 + 42 = 83.  What is the greatest positive integer less than 100 that cannot be expressed as the sum of consecutive, positive integers?
