Two cyclists who are 42 miles apart on a straight section of road start riding towards each other at noon. One cyclist averages 12 miles per hour (mph) and the other averages 16 mph. Also at noon one of the cyclists releases a special drone that flies at an average speed of 34 mph from one cyclist to the other. When the drone reaches a cyclist it immediately turns (in zero time) and heads to the other cyclist. By the time the cyclists meet, how far (in miles) has the drone traveled?
