Problem of the Week

A new problem every Monday that challenges participants of all ages to think creatively and apply their math skills. Perfect for a weekly mental challenge.

Consider the positive integers less than 100.  There exists 2 different sets of two or more consecutive positive integers that can be added together to yield a sum of 100.  Find the sum of the averages of the two sets of consecutive positive integers that yield a sum of 100.  In other words, find the average of each set and add the averages together.
