Fibonacci
The famous Fibonacci Sequence named after Leonardo Pisano Fibonacci who was born in Pisa in 1170. This sequence begins with two ones and continues with the following numbers being determined by the sum of the two preceding numbers. Therefore, the third number in the sequence is 1 + 1 = 2 to form 1, 1, 2 and the fourth number determined by 1 + 2 = 3. The fifth number is determined by 2 + 3 = 5. This produces the following sequence of numbers: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, . . .
