Middle School Madness

Weekly problems for middle school students ready for a challenge. These puzzles enhance logical thinking and make math exciting and rewarding.

Arrange the digits 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 to find the maximum product produced by a three-digit and two-digit number created using these 5 digits.  For example, 567 x 89 = 50463 and 657 x 98 = 64386.  Therefore 64386 would be the greater product.  Your task is to find the maximum product using these five digits (using each digit only once) arranged as three-digit and two-digit factors?
